The reason for the pardon was to make it easier to secure business and liquor licenses for Walhburgers. Convicted felons aren't always approved for those.

Knew reasons behind the pardon request; however there are hundreds if not thousands of minority and less well off men and women still suffering from past convictions. Why should Mr. Whalberg be a special case?
