Think we're going to find more coming out on this story. Seems written about in such a way that they're alluding that it was likely suicide.

I'm actually trying to figure out how this guy was at all famous.. I don't mean that bad.. it's just that he has about 5 credits.. I remember him from the horrid Uncle Buck TV show in 1990 and probably saw him on Carson a few times.

He came out as gay in 2008 and his wife promptly divorced him. Yeah.. Strange situation there.. Normally the divorce happens first in these cases.

He was a riot back in the day...."Put your big pants on, we're a big pants family! What would the neighbors think you going out in those tight pants!" Loved him!

"Get that puss off your face!"

This thread title made my jaw drop. My brother and I used to always watch him. We still quote him to this day. I'm really sorry to hear this.

I have heard of him and thought he was on SNL, but I did not see that listed in his bio, so I don't know how I "know" him.

That's basically my point on it.. most people know him, can quote his routines.. But.. If you asked where they saw him or how they knew him.. No real idea.

Doesn't take away the fact that he was a talented and funny comedian.

If you had asked me before I looked it up, the only role that I would have remembered was the Uncle Buck TV show, but I would have said that he was in far, far more things.

That was my first reaction too, maybe the name resonates with Kevin Nealon somehow?

We used to watch his standup routines; I think it was on ON TV? I see he had a special on HBO when he was starting out, but I don't think we ever had HBO.

I watched a couple of his more recent routines on youtube, and he had me laughing out loud. Now I wish I had still been watching him all this time.

I had to bump up this thread. I know this will be offensive to some, but it's exactly how it was back then. Warning: Language.
