If there is such a position as "America's Mom", Ms. Henderson held that title.

I have two daughters and it seemed like that theme song was playing 24/7 at my house.

Great, gracious lady!

She was full of life until the very end.

Terrible loss.

God rest her soul, Florence Henderson's character was the mom on tv
for so many children who grew up in the 1970s, she will be missed.

You have to be over 40 to remember just a handful of stations
(not channels) - showing Brady Bunch as much as they did, it
was the perfect show especially on UHF stations to keep the kids
occupied, I probably saw every show ..

That show went into syndication very early while still being produced for the networks.
It was very popular and upbeat in helping us entertain our children.

Today we have degenerated into a show giving us the ideals and vocabulary of Two Broke Girls.

I used to watch it when I was younger. I will miss her too. Peace be with her family, and her soul. RIP Florence, the entire nation will mourn for you.

Growing up this was one of my favorite shows. I recall being very excited when Joe Namath was making a guest appearance. Very sad to see Florence Henderson leave us. RIP.

According to a report she was perfectly healthy with no signs of illness before she was hospitalized to only pass away the next day.
