May Alan Thicke RIP.

I only found out that he wrote the "Facts of Life" theme song the other day as well.

I feel badly for his son.

Yes, and not only did he write "Diff'rent Strokes" theme song...he sang it too,
it's his vocals on it, pretty decent guitar player too.

R.I.P.

I'm sorry to hear this because Alan Thicke always did seem like a very genuine and nice person.

Also, I remember him from his nighttime talk show in the 1980s with Arsenio Hall as his co-host.

Alan Thicke's Official Cause of Death Revealed

Quote:
The Canadian actor died of a "ruptured aorta" and a "standard type A aortic dissection," according to his official death certificate, which ET obtained on Wednesday. The death certificate lists the time interval between the onset of the ruptured aorta and his death as minutes, while the time between the onset of the aortic dissection and his death is listed as three hours.

Just like John Ritter.

Now I understand why they couldn't save him even though he made it to the hospital so quickly.
