She wasn't worthless. She was loved by many, loved many, and had a wonderfully complex, quirky, and brilliant mind.
She also battled undiagnosed bipolar disorder for several years, self-medicated, and ultimately spiraled down into heavy addiction, which plagued her and snared her in the end, as addictions often do.
She was someone of my generation...a lot of us played & partied...some famous ones come to mind...lately, Glenn Frey & Gregg Allman, and for me, some not-so-famous...my high school boyfriend, who was the most gentle & kind person, but died in January, his health conditions exacerbated by too much partying.

TRIaura, there are words to describe you, but then, City-Data would slap my hand, so you're not worth it. Go back into your mom's basement.
Oh yes, those days...^^^^
I tell people that I'm lucky I'm still hear to talk abt it!
But I am a little disappointed to hear this abt CF. I would of thought that she knew better by now. Or at least tried harder to over come her addiction.
I watched a recording of Carrie's one woman show a while back. She was so funny, and accepting of her faults. She had many years of substance abuse wreaking havoc on her body. She stood there in front of that crowd, humble, and spoke the truth. Wonderful woman, and daughter to a mother who loved her despite her faults. They were close at the end, and that is good to know.
