It sounds really bad. CPR administered on plane and medics worked on her for 15 minutes before transporting to hospital.

I hope she makes it, but a massive heart attack. Luckily the plane was only 15 minutes from landing, when it happened. There were medical personnel there to treat her, and get her to the hospital. Had the flight been over the middle of the the Atlantic Ocean. There would be little hope.

Wishing her a speedy recovery. I also liked her voice and spunky personality.
I always loved her in any movie she was in, especially in

Default Carrie Fisher's Massive Hearrt Attack Today

I heard about this on the way to work. God bless you Carrie and I hope you are allright.

Carrie is very special to men of my generation. She was the first woman that a lot of us fell in love with. But also, she was the first that we respected. Princess Leia was the leader of the rebellion, the brains of the good guys, the sine qua non of the Star Wars films--and she could blast with the best of them. She was the first woman in the movies who could roll with the boys, and taught a lot of guys that you can admire a woman and think that she's pretty at the same time.

She is a true proto-feminist icon. Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, Daisy Ridley as Rey, Shailene Woodley as Tris Prior, Danai Gurira as Michonne, Lucy Lawless as Xena, Gillian Anderson as Dana Scully, even Sigorney Weaver as the ground breaking and iconic Ellen Ripley--none of them exit without Carrie blazing the trail.

She is also a screen writer and novelist.

Get well Carrie. You are a true immortal. but we want you around here with us for a lot longer!
