I got a bad feeling about the Hanson Brothers

I think George fought his demons for a long time and put on weight very easily too, he looked quite fat ln recent photos.

Given how quickly he put on weight (especially considering he had been pretty slender for most of his life) I would venture a guess that he had some change in his health that necessitated being on some sort of steroid or other medication that caused him to gain the weight. He also looked quite "puffy," which suggests it wasn't just fat, but fluid retention.

RIP George....... you were great in your time, and your music will play on.
Now that the major hoopla of his death is over, and the pointing out of all his various faults has followed, I find it pleasing that some news stories are now being devoted to how freely he gave his money, and his performing time to charitable events and the evidently numerous private donations...and often with zero publicity.

I enjoyed dancing to his music in the years I belonged to clubs, and listening to it in the decades that have followed. George Michael's music is part of many good memories in my life.

Portuguese TV did a nice recollection of his magnificent performance in Coimbra in 2007.

Yes...... I've been reading such things myself today. This is so sad, and I guess his family, friends and fans wish things could have been different, and that he could have found some peace of mind.

I had a major crush on George. The "wake me up before you go go"..that thick gorgeous hair ...that tan. I thought he was so exotic. RIP George.
