While a beautiful and successful musician, George never came across in interviews as happy or content in his adult life. Just the opposite. He must have had a lifelong fight with powerful demons. And like too many amazing entertainers, those demons finally won. Only 53....way too young.

I wouldn't say AIDs because he was gay, but you have to admit that a gay male celebrity that was a known drug abuser mysteriously passing at his age puts AIDs right at the top of the list. I'm going to say no because they're saying heart failure. I think it's drug related. Had the said pneumonia, I would probably guess AIDs.

Anyways, he was an incredible talent. RIP George......
