Sad that in this day and age, being considered gay publicly (or outed) is enough to stress out some celebrities, that try to deny or downplay the rumors.

I suppose that goes to show you that despite what some may think, perhaps some aren't as open as we think they are.

Watch: Michael B. Jordan Finally Responds to Gay Rumors | Michael B. Jordan | Celebrities | BET

Quote:
After going on the calm tirade, Jordan decided to remove himself from the podium and had second thoughts as to why he was addressing rumors claiming he’s gay.

“On second thought, why am I even giving energy to that s**t on this day,” he continued. “Y’all my fans. Y’all don’t need to hear me ranting about some BS. Enjoy your family, enjoy your blessings, enjoy the people you hold close and cherish that.”

I, for one, am definitely not on the edge of my seat wondering about his sexuality.

The only problem is, he didn't really respond with an answer. He rambled something that was rather meaningless.

I believe it was Michael Stipes, the musician, who said this when asked if he was gay, " I value my privacy and I have precious little of it. It's none of your business what I'm doing with my penis unless you're sitting on my lap."

I thought that was all that ever needs to be said by any man who is ever asked that again. It's undignified to even ask.

Why is that a problem? Why is it crucial information? Why is it anyone's business?

The problem isn't with Michael. We shouldn't obsess over whether he is gay or straight or bi. When I've seen him interviewed, he seems like a rather nice person.

The problem is the title of the thread, which says he finally responds to gay rumors. He doesn't. It's a misleading headline that I have seen several different places. I think it perpetuates the rumors.

Well he DID respond. Dismissing the question is a response. Just not the response some people were looking for.

When they refuse to answer the question, I just take it to mean "Yes, I sleep with men." Which is fine.
