Well, no, that's not what you were talking about. You were talking about fans who travel to see the celebrity at official appearances and have fan websites. If you were referring to people who set up altars, you should have said so. That's totally different than what you posted.

Even if a person does set up an "altar" in the privacy of their own home, that's their business. As long as they aren't harassing the celebrity or breaking any laws, what's the problem?

Agreed. I think it's a different level of obsession than traveling around and hosting fan sites, but still not "crossing a line".

Well, no it really isn't, because what I'm talking about in a broad sense is obsession, in whatever sense it takes.

Of course it's their business, and they have every right to do so. But is it good for them.

Is it good for them? Compared to what? There are far worse things that they could be into.

There's a very wide spectrum to "obsession," and very little of it constitutes "crossing a line."

Sad they don't have anything better to do or something healthier to focus on. If not their family maybe a pet at least. As for what celebrities do years ago California changed laws to make it harder to find out the address celebs keep on their driver license. Why they wouldn't use a mail box or their agent's office address I don't know. I think it should be hard for anyone to access another person's home address, but these days with the internet that genie is well out of the bottle.
