She was my hero as a young girl.
RIP.

The former cast of "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" has remained remarkably intact over the decades. The last one to die was Ted Knight in 1986. Ed Asner, Betty White, Cloris Leachman, and Gavin Macleod are older than MTM.

She was cute and talented in the Hotpoint commercials, and excellent in the Dick Van Dyke show. I would even go so far as to say...there's only one like her. In later years she was OK, nothing special. Rhoda began to outstrip her. She was very unpopular from the '70s on, but, pffft.... I can relate to that. People have a lot of attitude towards those who actually put out some effort and did something with their lives.

Rest in peace, Ms. Moore. I grew up watching you and loving your talent.

Very Sad.

I grew up watching the Mary Tyler Moore show. She will be missed.

Yeah.. Gun that was pulled from the market due to the trigger being too sensitive.

She insisted that it was an accident, that the gun just went off..

People who were there were less sure.. With some reports that he was playing a variation of russian roulette and otherwise screwing around. And others said it was more a suicide.

I'm mainly concerned that we're going to have to come up with a new way of turning on the world.

I really love reruns of the Mary Tyler Moore Show. It was a terrific show. The writing was great and I also enjoyed her co-stars, particularly Rhoda, Murray, and Sue-Ann.
