In our lifetimes, we could see the first trillionaire.

And, most likely, that first trillionaire would be Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates.

That's according to research by Oxfam, an international network of organizations collectively working to alleviate global poverty.

Bill Gates could become the world's first trillionaire

I won't be around to read about that astonishing accomplishment if it happens. Something makes me feel that the one trillion dollar mark will not be reached, even though DBG (Dollar Bill Gates) may still be alive in his mid-to-upper 80s.

Too bad there will be no Gates legacy. He said his kids won't be inheriting billions - most will go to charity.

His legacy will be much bigger and much more profound than kids inheriting a boatload of cash.

This is true. At one time he stated his kids will receive 10 Million each. Most would have no problem living off of that.
