What's even more scary is that I've had 37 basal cell carcinoma removed from my face/nose/ears.

I'm glad that Hugh is so open with it. He brings a lot of awareness just by posting pics of his bandaged face. Folks were commenting on the post about how they got their skin checked after the last time he posted a pic, and they ended up having BCC removed.

Well, it's tough for someone like him to stay indoors, but he does slather with sunscreen and wears large brimmed hats.

Basal cells are pretty common and usually do no harm.
