so he wants to be a citizen so he can cause anarchy and bring down the President of the United States...isn't that pretty much a good reason to deny someone US citizenship? I dunno, I mean to me that's like a no-brainer

Who said anything about anarchy? You can oppose a seated president without causing anarchy.

He says he wants to become an American to fight Donald Trump. I'm saying here he is in action...... he's all yours.

Have you heard the saying, 'a picture is worth a 1000 words? Well, I've provided a moving picture.

That's "in action"? Okay. Whatever.

I won't speak for all Americans, but I'll gladly take him.

My sentiments also. I am sick of celebrities trying to tell Americans how to vote, what to think, what to wear, even giving out medical advice. These people are so full of their pompous selves and just need to go away. If they didn't look a certain way, they wouldn't even have acting careers - let alone any other kind of job.

I must say that watching these interviews and hearing of his new lofty goal, I'm more impressed than ever with his skills as an actor. Jean-Luc Picard seems a very intelligent man, after all.

I guess Stewart didn't want to be out-cluelessed by Robert DeNiro.

I don't think they're trying to dictate anyone's vote. They just happen to be people with the attention of the press.

You can go down to your local park and give a speach on what you believe and why you believe you're right. You might draw a crowd. You might even draw the press.

Celebrities don't have anymore power or influence than anyone else. They just have a wider reach due to press coverage.
