Does anyone else feel like Katy Perry is floundering lately since her break up with Orlando Bloom?

She doesn't seem as happy anymore like she's lost her spirit some. Then she cut off all her hair and it doesn't do anything for her imho. I watched her recent video and it felt just like an uninspired rehash of her past work that she threw together. Now she released another bit of music and I'm reading it's getting poor reviews. She can't even drum up much negative publicity on it with the old Taylor Swift beef spin. That's pretty lame. What she's dishing isn't selling lately.

I wonder if she's just in a slump or rut and will come back out of it soon or what.

What do you think?

Cut off her hair? She pulling a Britney Spears move?

Ya she got this 1980's blonde power pixie and it looks really awful on her. She looks angry and it ages her.

I love the pixie on her. I think it looks edgy, not angry.

She is at a crossroad when another generation has emerged. Will she continued to produce hits or become a resident artist at a Vegas Casino?

Her prime is over. Every pop star's prime is their early to mid-20s.

She looks awful with the pixie blond hair and her outfits are weird. I'd say she doesn't have an identity. She has an edgy haircut but bizarre fashion. She claims she's making purposeful pop, but her singles and videos look like the standard pop videos - overly slick and overly-produced.

I feel Shes going for an Annie Lennox like look with an "edgier" style. Its understandable she needs to grow and mature but the look and vibe don't suit her.

A more straight forward approach like Sheryl Crowe would be better. Adopt a mature style but still in vein with the previous one. Shes talented enough to pull off folk rock with a pop edge and do it well.

I could see that. I really liked the one picture in the link with her longer blond hair right before she cut it. It kind of reminds me of what you said too.

Her new album cover, Witness, looks like the monster from Pan's Labyrinth. She's putting off this vibe I just don't get. Like a "Fridged Fairy" in the images if she's drawing from the Pan mythology this round.

I went to listen to the new album and was disappointed going threw it. However, she's selling it hard. I saw she's sort of doing this viral media mini series livestream on YouTube for the next four days.

Scary movie monster scene. Start around 2:30 in.

One of the live streams. It's pretty raw. They keep stopping and starting new livestreams on her page so you may have to go to it if you want to check in and see what they're up to for her Witness tour.

Miley Cyrus 2.0. Sad.

Really cringeworthy when she was on SNL.
