She was soooo great as Hyacinth that I just couldn't see her in any other role, especially the role of Hetty Wainthropp.


Or maybe I have a bias against little old ladies solving murders. Felt the same way about Miss Marple.

We love our old lady detectives don't we?.......... There is always one on British telly. The latest is Brenda Blethyn as 'Vera.'
