He must have been the envy of his classmates, especially since it was with Martin and Lewis.

I used to watch this show as a small child, only recently realized that 'Bubba' from "Forrest Gump" starred in it (one of the women, Elizabeth Daily, went on to do much voiceover work and starred as Pee Wee Herman's bike repairperson in "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" as well as Phoebe's songwriting partner on an episode of "Friends".

Sans a mustache, Tom Selleck’s first commercial, with Patti Deutsch, Teri Garr, and Penny Marshall, also:

Selleck with Farrah Faucett:

Guy Fieri’s
audition tape that got him in the televised Food Network’s Next Chef type of competition, and then ultimately, DDD.

I saw the show that he was competing in and immediately thought because of his hair and tattoos, he’ll never win!

It took me several episodes of ‘Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives’ to finally get into the show's upbeat groove.

In 2001, Rick and the pawn shop were in a PBS documentary, which gave Rick the idea to pitch the shop for a series.

Here's Rick Harrison
at the pawn shop (about a half-dozen years before the ‘Pawn Stars’ pitch was finally sold), from a Comedy Central’s ‘Insomniac Featuring Dave Attell segment.

Rick, though my favorite of the PS show seems a little more rough around the edges here:

Morgan Freeman has been in films and TV, and in live theater, since the 1960s. I don't think 1975 qualifies as "early" in his career ...

In his video career it does, and the thread's title does say Early "Video" Roles.

You mistakenly changed the sentiment in my thread title to include or imply 'career', which I never even said, btw.

Both his video and stage career began in 1964, but for the record, the number of live theater performances are null and void here, given the parameters described in this thread's title, unless of course there is a filmed performance to provide a link for, thus the title of my thread.

He didn't get any screen credit for his first three film roles, 64, '66, '68, which usually means a walk-on only.

Three films, the first of which wasn't on YouTube to provide a link for. I didn't check for the other two.

He did get his first screen credit for his fourth film which was in 1980, which btw, is after that one 1975 commercial and 1970's commercial (according to YouTube), which of course, helped Hollywood see how not only how he looked on screen, but also how he sounded.

Don't know if he had any speaking lines in that fourth movie or not, but he had some in those earlier commercials!

He did around eighty movies, and around 15 or more TV roles, not counting narrations.

That being said, I've got no problem calling his fourth and fifth (the commercials) video contributions, out of close to a hundred subsequent video offerings, "...Early (not early-est mind you) Video Roles"!

Or, this way if need be...his fourth/fifth video role, in the first 11 years of his current 53 year span.

If that doesn't work, I may have to Google that mean-median-mode thingy and do some brushing-up...
