My mother-in-law compared me to young Jackie Kennedy when DH brought me home, which did not hurt my feelings at all.

Oh sorry no his looks but his personality makes him one of the most annoying and hated peoples on telly. But the ladies seem to like him so that's one plus I suppose

Haha.. very funny. I think Bjork is very beautiful, even if I don't approve her sartorial sensibilities. There's a really great quote in that video "I left my Classical music school and gave them the big finger."

I've never heard of Joe Swash either but he is good looking. I wonder if Karl Pilkington has a round headed doppelgänger out there?

Ha I know plenty like him and actually I've worked with his double..... A dead ringer! About 6ft, same head, face/facial expressions, and best of all he could moan for England as well ( my foreman at the time ) but had a London accent not a Manchester one

If I ever bump into him again I'll send him on over to Texas for ya

when I was younger people used to say "My god you favor Marilyn Monroe " co workers used to tell my mother that too . when customers would come they would see my photo on my moms desk and tell her oh you like Marilyn Monroe too ? and she would say that is my daughter . Oh wow was usually the reaction she would get .Now that I'm older I don't see it .

I can't see the resemblance at all but have a very similar voice/manner and I've had about 15-20 mention it over the years, from women I take it as a compliment as they love him here in the UK but with the blokes I know it's just an attempt to wind me up as he's the biggest mug on telly!

To answer your question it could be a conversation starter/compliment if they approached you and said it quite possibly. But it usually depends on when and how it's said
Lol!! You actually talk like him as well?! Ha ha!!
