He was able to bring what had customarily been black music to a white audience by bringing the blues into mainstream rock and roll, transforming both forever. What made Elvis different was his pure, raw emotion.

No. People go back and play old blues artists from the 30s and 40s. Elvis will be like that. People will play his music to take them back to a time when the music was raw and new.

Suspicious Minds (1969)....mega hit, fantastic song...especially live with his karate moves and cape!

Kentucky Rain (1970) ....written by Eddie Rabbitt!

Way Down (1977) ...his last single

Separate Ways (1972) ....love it, a real tear jerker, about his separation with Priscilla

You Were Always On My Mind (1972) ...a decade before Willie Nelson's version and imo better

American Trilogy (1973)....from Aloha TV special

Baby What You Want Me to Be (1968) ....from his '68 Comeback special

Peace In the Valley (1957) ....Elvis was great at gospel...this one gives me goose bumps

A Little Less Conversation (1968)....fantastic...remixed 4 decades later and a big hit

Little Sister (1961) ....cool tune, nice guitar riff

Mystery Train (1955) ....an early hit that started the ball rollin'
