Actor Frank Vincent who starred in The Sopranos and Goodfellas among other fims as a tough guy has died. He was great in these roles and will be missed. One magazine once said he was so convincing that real mobsters would shoot at him. RIP Frankie.

That quickly brought his face back to me, you don't say crap like that to Joe Pesci and expect to live, remember what Pesci did to the bartender/waiter who gave him lip for shooting his foot the previous night? Goodfellas was one gruesome mobster flick, remember the opening scene with bloody Frank flopping around in the trunk after the shinebox remarks? Joe Pesci played the toughest mobster of all time, IMO. Casino and Goodfellas were tied for the ultimate mob flicks of all time because of Pesci's convincing performance. How could such a little dude make us believe his character was that tough? Because he's a great actor and so was Frank Vincent, he did well with his characters too, in Goodfellas and Sopranos.

RIP Frank Vincent, may the trunk lid pop open on your journey to the great beyond.
