If you are thinking that Jennifer and Brad Pitt were anything like Liz and Dick, then you are too young to really know their story. In the old days, when "movies" were called "pictures," there were gossip columnists like Hedda Hopper, Rona Barrett, and Liz Smith. Their columns, which were widely read in the society page were filled with the comings and goings of the couple. And you could watch their emotions for each other right on screen in all the movies that they made together-most especially Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf and Cleopatra. Their marriage was very over the top. They got married, divorced and then married again. With their heavy drinking, they made rash decisions and appeared to be very flamboyant.

The answer is, you had to be there. Whether it's the Beatles, or Burton and Taylor.
