I don't get it. Do these ugly men (Tambor, Weinstein, Spacey, et al) look at themselves in the mirror and think women want it? How can they possibly think they're attractive?
I don't think they do. Their fame and/ or their wallets gives them a certain power or magnetism and unfortunately...that draws some women or at the least gives them a degree of leverage over them to get what they want out of the situation.
And we'll probably never hear about the women that didn't give them what they wanted and hopefully smacked the snot out of them or kicked 'em to raise their voice an octave.
Weinstein asking women if they want to watch him shower?
WTF! Why? I don't even like looking at him with clothes on. Who in their right mind would want to see that naked?
Good God!
I agree. I find him repulsive. But.. if his position of power has allowed this to happen before, It could give him a false sense of being sexy or.. he didn't care if they liked him or not. He was an exhibitionist and if a woman was scared that he could have a big effect on her career... she did it. Repulsed or not. And he got off on it.
This has gotten ridiculous, stupid and reckless with the media's obsession with every story about anybody they can find on the subject. If the media reports every inappropriate incident that ever happened in years past then the serious sex crimes and harassment incidents will get watered down even more.

Bingo.
This is exactly why i don't like this all-together-now rush.
So when this all calms down and another woman comes out about someone else the reaction from some/many will be" ooh you should've came out when it was trendy and hot when everybody else did it."
But really the allegations won't be taken seriously. It'll just be looked as a "thing" women just do. Its tiring to hear this but yet all that happens to the guy is he loses his job no different than regular person you and I do at our jobs.
Very sad. Weakens the severity of rape
