I saw him in concert in February - it was one of his last. I am so glad I went! I knew he had problems but never dreamed he'd be dead before the end of the year. So terribly sad - plus right here at the holidays, which will never be the same for his family and loved ones. Rest in peace, David. You brought a lot of us much, much joy.
Earlier tonight, before David passed, I noticed a thread on the Phoenix forum about a young couple wanting to live in an RV. To be funny one guy posted (earlier this month....before David entered the hospital I believe) a 19 minute YouTube video about how the series came about (BOARDING THE BUS - The Partridge Family), with interviews with the series creator, with Danny Bonaduce, with Shirley Jones, and with David Cassidy. It looked as though the 19 minute video was made in the early 2000s. It was a nice trip down memory lane.
RIP and I truly hope you have peace now David. Thanks for the stomach butterfly fluttering and heart pounding with each new monthly release of you in the teen mags.
