One of those early syndicated shows I saw as a kid along with "My Mother the Car" and "My Favorite Martian"

I listen to his radio show on Sirius sometimes, its always funny. Ed Backus was his rival. You know Mr. Young dated Marilyn Monroe briefly?

When Young's Mister Ed co-star Connie Hines had died back in 2009 I can remember several local Denver radio stations including KOA and KHOW saying such things like "..well Connie has now joined Mister Ed and Wilbur ( Alan Young ) up in the big stable in the sky..". In other words they really had thought that Young had already died years ago when in reality he was still alive.

Dying at 96 I would say Alan Young had lived a very long life.

Aw, bless his heart. I'm so sorry to hear about Alan Young passing. I watched that show all the time when I was a kid and loved him and Mr. Ed. May they both RIP.
