Can anyone explain to me what on her face was injured? How does she look different than before the accident? I keep looking, and I don't see it.
Just saw her on TV, taping a radio show. You're not the only one asking that question; the radio host wanted to know, too. She responded, "around the mouth area," making a circular motion with her finger. She then said she had a lot of "spackle" on.
There was supposed to be the "big reveal" on the ACMs, but the online chatter was that no one could see how it was different, which I think prompted her to post a picture to Instagram (if I'm not mistaken). Then you can see the wound that theoldnorthstate mentioned. But yeah, she hyped up her injury really badly because I think she was afraid of being bashed online if she didn't prepare people, but the ACM reveal revealed nothing.
I know this is a Celebrity forum and such but for real, what is this thread really about?
So Carrie took a fall, broke her wrist and injured her face. Nothing newsworthy or alarming.
Really, it's not but it's been hyped up into this huge THING by Underwood herself. I even found myself wondering about all the hype. Telling her fans she may look different = and then . . pretty much nothing. She looks exactly the same. She made me thing she was going to be the next elephant man or something - but obviously that is not the case.

Me either. I'm glad I stumbled on this thread because I've been thinking the same thing but yet it really wasn't worth having to actually CONVERSE about it. Now I know I'm not alone.
Tell her to get back to me when she smashes her head against a rock after falling off a mountain and has to hold her brains in her head with her hands until the paramedics get there, then has to wear a hat, beard, and sunglasses in public the rest of her career to cover up the scars.
