Too bad, with all of these shows getting reboots lately I wouldn't have minded a few new episodes of Frasier, but wouldn't be the same with him. RIP.

I agree, never thought about it but I wouldn't have mind seeing a reboot. He was really good on the show.

Throat cancer: John Mahoney, Steppenwolf and 'Frasier' actor, dead at 77 - Chicago Tribune

Late Mr. Mahoney was also a survivor of colon cancer which left him wearing a colostomy bag. This was back in the 1980's or roundabouts so all during Frasier he would have been using the device.

A great interview from way back.

The Curse Of John Mahoney - tribunedigital-chicagotribune

Have always admired not just Mr. Mahoney's acting skills, but that he never went "Hollywood". The man valued his privacy and appreciated his blessings.

*RIP*
