I was disappointed when Today show let her go. I thought she was under appreciated and the way she was replaced was just awful. But she seems to be doing well, heck even better than when she was on Today. She probably had a grievence with golden boy Matt Lauer that caused conflict. She seems much better off and more settled on the projects she is involved with now. Kudos to her!!!

I never liked her on Today for some reason and I've been a daily watcher for decades. But I saw her interviewed recently and she was incredibly likeable. I'm glad she is doing well.

She has too much 'class' for such a petty stab.

I will bet she is actually 'grieved' by his pain. (tho she patiently suffered through a lot of her own... being near him for yrs)

It is truly sad (for all).

Best wishes to Ann, she fought a significant battle to get here.

I agree. I quit watching that morning show after she left. Very classy lady.

I agree. After Matt Lauer's horrible treatment of Ann Curry—long before we learned of his other character and behavior flaws—I could not watch him anymore.

I liked Ann Curry, but not as an anchor. I liked her news stories and interviews she's done, but I didn't think she was an effective anchor for the Today Show.

^^^ This.

And Lauer was paid $200 million for the years he worked at The Today Show because of the high ratings he got, women viewers loved him.

Correction, some women viewers liked him, I didn't, especially since Ann Curry was let go from today show. It seem like Ann Curry was flustered in the news anchor position, I wondered if maybe she was just not a morning person.. But of course her leaving probably we will never hear the whole story. Poor Al is the last man standing, hope he didn't do anything bad, then I will loose all hope for humanity.!!!
