I had a huge crush on John Gavin when I was a teen.

Of all his movies I have to say that "Back Street" is my favorite.

R.I.P., Mr. Gavin.

I always liked him. He was married to Constance Towers (GH's Helena Cassadine) for decades.

Rest in peace, John Gavin.

Great actor. Spartacus, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Midnight Lace (that last one is not what it sounds like! ). Midnight Lace is a suspense/mystery. Stars Doris Day, John Gavin, and Rex Harrison. SCARY Rex!

My favorite was his role in "Back Street" with Susan Hayward.

John Gavin came thiiiiiiis close to playing James Bond back in 1971. He actually signed a contract, but then the producers were able to persuade Connery to come back for Diamonds Are Forever.

I liked him, too. He had style and was very handsome. He could have been a Bond.
