I find it odd that........This guy ( who is quote " A big rock Star " ) can't raise $100,000 bail on a multi million dollar level income ? Could it be another example of the smoke and mirrors being just that ? An illusion ?
You do know that they were UNDERAGE GIRLS at the time the assaults happened, do you? Or do you not care? I hope you don't have daughters.
Go read post #16 where i explained this already. Some underage girls "believe" they are too mature to date guys their own age and seek to date older guys. An underage girl or boy has no business dating an adult since the adult will have the upper hand in the relationship.
If you read some of the accounts, my statement stands true.

The victim's mother approached the manager and informed him that the girl was only 16. The girl later took the card out of her mother's purse and contacted Kelly, who told her to skip school and come to his studio, Foxx said.
The pair allegedly had regular sexual contact once a month between May 26, 1998 and May 25, 1999.
VICTIM 2 - R.L., 14 years old = This victim was pimped out by her auntie.
VICTIM 4 - J.P., under 17 years old - J.P. allegedly met Kelly when she asked for his autograph while attending his 2008 criminal trial on child pornography charges. This girl was cutting school to meet R.Kelly at a child pornography trial.

He was dropped from his label and is being evicted from studios left and right plus I don’t think the last album did all that well anyway. His last successful album was about 10+ years ago. Stations over the years has stopped playing his new songs slowly causing sales to plunge.
I will be surprised if he is found guilty this time since he was acquitted last time just because he is a celebrity
He was acquitted because the prosecution did not have evidence to convict. The parents of the girl and the girl herself denied any involvement. Even with the best of intentions one cannot conjure up a conviction in a case where witnesses do not cooperate.
Must every situation engender a childish, political response? This has nothing to do with Trump or Obama. A pedo is finally getting what he deserves (which, hopefully, will be some time behind bars).
Been watching that Surviving R Kelly series and I got to say. I had no clue about this guy. I'm not a fan of his music but I do recall hearing stories way back in the day about the whole urinating on "women" thing. I didn't know he was into young girls and didn't know just what an awful awful creep he is.
This documentary is just sad as hell watching and listening to these women's stories. When you hear the same story told the same way by so many women. I don't know. The pain these women were showing was real, it was palpable. It wasn't fake, at least not to me it wasn't.
A judge found him enough of a threat to not allow bail. I hope they nail that sucker to the wall in the trial. He's got away too many times in the past for his awful behavior. I feel bad for the abuse his kids had to endure because of his behavior.
