Was trying to find another batch of new comedians, (even though I just found two new guys a month ago), and all I got was several Hollywood Reporter pages, all saying that Kevin Hart is #1 comedian, when he clearly is not funny anymore, and their top ten is Aziz Ansari, Amy Shumer, Joe Rogan (he is so vulgar and not funny), Jim Gaffigan, and more unfunny comedians who are just well-connected I guess. John Mulaney was the only valid name on the list.
I have the best comedians on my playlists, guaranteed laugh your ass off.

Good luck with finding new "comedians." Most of them are just hacks giving commentary or being shocking for the hell of it.

We are way past the days of one-liners. Rodney Dangerfield was the last of the one-liners. Comedians have to be much better than that now. They can't skate on somebody elses's jokes. Many of the one-liner comedians didn't even write their stuff.

The comedians of old were great short story tellers. Many wrote their own material or used exceptionally gifted writers.

You know a comedian is great when they don't have to stoop to or rely on filth and gutter talk.

Rodney was the only comedian who could make me laugh just from the look on his face. I miss him.

Exactly, I was just going to say the same thing.
The comedians of long ago never had to cuss to be funny!

They would even be on the family evening shows they were so clean. Ed Sullivan comes to mind.
