On March 9th, just 5 days after Luke Perry's death, and 8 days after his own birthday, Jed Allan died at age 84.

The mother of a friend of mine in the 70s loved Days of Our Lives, so I remembered he played Don Craig on Days of Our Lives.

The mother of a woman I dated for a long time in the 80s loved Santa Barbara, so I remembered he played C. C. Capwell on Santa Barbara.

And I remember him as Steve Sanders' father Rush Sanders on Beverly Hills 90210.

I started doing that exact same thing w/ my DVDs starting Sun night, but NOT because of this actor although it's still sad no doubt.

I'll be thinking about the death of LUKE PERRY for a while here! I loved him as an actor.

BTW, I still need to buy seasons 8-10. Amazon doesn't have them in stock now. Do you know who else does for a good price?

I liked him as the second Forest ranger on "Lassie". He was also in a couple episodes of Adam-12.

RIP

Yeah, I had seasons 1-7 long ago & just never bought the last 3. I got these last 3 for $15.99 each from FYE.

Yep, IMO living to the mid to late 80 years old is pretty good. I mean hopefully for longer.
