I liked him best in the movie Diner (1980)... along with all the other guys in that movie like Kevin Bacon.
Diner is one of my very favorite movies of all time. It also greatly influenced my outlook on male/female relationships. If you haven't seen it yet, see it!!!
Mickey Rourke...some other move he was in with Faye Dunaway? They were living in NYC and both alcoholics, really weird movie, but for some reason I found him attractive, maybe it was The Prince of NY?
That was "Barfly" (1987).
Based on a Charles Bukowski autobiographical story, it's one of Mickey Rourke's best movies.
Another one of his best is the little known "Homeboy" (1988) which he also wrote as well as starred in.

If by weird celebrities, you mean women who are fit and beautiful, I can come up with a laundry list of them.
