A now-deceased friend of mine was part of the Graceland "team" in the late 1970s and believe it or not people had a lot of positive experiences working for the Presleys.
Due to the nature of American culture we tear down famous people from their pedestals but you have to remember, they are human too. Elvis Presley was a cultural icon.
Remember the good things, not the bad. Lisa Marie is at peace now.
Article below that her autopsy was complete but no COD until the tox screen comes back.
I won't be surprised if her mother and oldest daughter go to court to try to stop it from being made public. As a mother, I would agree not to release it, especially for her kids sake. It's bad enough that someone may try to get custody of the twin girls. I read an article that they're with their father, that naturally he gets custody. I'll be surprised if he doesn't sue her estate for child support because he won't be getting any with Lisa Marie dying. It isn't known if she even had a will or trust set up for her kids.
I read about her divorce from her ex, she accused him of having child porn on his computers, I believe TN police have 80 electronic devices of his. No charges filed so she looks like she made it up.
My ex had some pretty nasty porn on his computer (20 years ago) which I gave to my attorney, nothing was done. It wasn't even mentioned in court.
I don't know what's true. I saw pictures of the ex getting remarried, the girls had big smiles on their faces. I don't know what to think. He went from 40% custody to full.
Lisa Marie Presley's cause of death won't be known for some time -- because health officials are waiting on one key thing that'll hopefully explain what took her life.
Sources with direct knowledge tell us Presley's autopsy was done Saturday, but we're told the L.A. County Coroner's Office doesn't have an official COD yet -- because toxicology tests are being done, and the results aren't in yet. No word on when those might come back.

Ok.. but.. When it comes to Elvis himself.. That's a whole different level.
The Elvis stories.. Are just fascinating/scary/hilarious/mind boggling... And plenty more adjectives i'm sure.
Back in the day, it was tradition for a radio show to read the Hamburger James story for Christmas. This is basically the story of Elvis' 'kit' being stolen by Hamburger James, who was a member of the 'mafia' and Elvis running through the airport flashing a badge and yelling out "Stop that plane! I'm a federal officer!"
Elvis shooting out a TV because Robert Goulet was on.. Shooting flashbulbs in his pool..
Elvis.. You couldn't make up stories weirder than real life.
I mean, as far as eccentricities.. Even Michael Jackson couldn't hold a candle to Elvis so far as weird things he'd do.
Lisa Marie Presley will be laid to rest this weekend -- her exact burial spot is being excavated right now, and as expected ... it's in close proximity to her father, Elvis Presley.
Sources at Graceland tell TMZ ... preparations are currently underway at the Presley family compound in Memphis to accommodate the Celebration of Life ceremony scheduled to take place Sunday.
As you can see in the photos and videos we've obtained ... Lisa's gravesite will be positioned around the famous backyard fountain area where Elvis and his parents are buried.
Lisa's son, Benjamin Keough -- who died by suicide in 2020 -- is also buried there, and our sources say his mother's grave will be right next to his.
lisa marie's life is a cautionary tale that exemplifies fame and massive wealth (inherited or earned) don't bring any person happiness or health. even though she was born into american royalty, she had a life of turmoil, made multiple bad personal decisions, and in my opinion her beloved son's suicide was the final tragedy that broke her heart.
lisa's death at such a young age is another heartbreak for lisa marie's three daughters and mother. they, too, have experienced so much tragedy.
I agree, my heart breaks for her mother and kids.
Her oldest daughter Riley's twitter sounds like Riley is still broken hearted losing her brother.
I read an article yesterday that Priscilla has also been hugely effected by his death, so was Danny's father.

I have a second cousin who was diagnosed with broken heart syndrome from her only child/son's suicide by gun.
My second cousin was found deceased in her house in November, after Thanksgiving. She had been going back into the hospital within this last year with heart and other health issues. It was so sad, her sister posted asking if any of us heard from her older sister, when no one did, I guess she sent LE to the house for a wellness check.
My cousin used to post every day about how much she misses her son. My heart used to break for her. Now I know she is at peace with her beloved son and parents. Her son died on the same day her father died, so that day was a very hard day for her. She was a "daddy's girl" too.
"...despite the familiar snarl in her voice — not to mention the darkly sensual eyes that instantly evoked her dad in photos — Presley was determined to create her own path in the music industry, according to people who worked with her.
“Lisa Marie never wanted to trade off her status and fame,” said Glen Ballard, the seasoned songwriter and producer who co-wrote much of the material, including “Lights Out,” on “To Whom It May Concern.” “It was like being born a princess — kind of an accident of birth. She always felt there was some unearned capital there.”
“She was doing music for the right reason, which was that she had something to say and music was the vehicle for her to express herself emotionally.”
Andrew Slater, the veteran manager and record producer, says she had a natural charisma that made all that irrelevant. “I either believe a singer or I don’t, and I believed her,” he said. “So did everyone at Capitol. She was tough and passionate but really sensitive and humble.” Funny too, according to Ballard. “She would take the **** out of everything,” he said. “She had a lot of angst but also a lot of humor. All the time I spent with her was fun.”
