Nestle does not Newman's food companies. As stated above, he set up a foundation to run it so that all profits still go to charity:

Newmans Owns

His daughter, Nell Newman, runs the organic foods part of the company:

Thank you. I will continue to buy Newman products, they do good, and they are good.

Do you have a link with some facts?
I like many of the salad dressings, but especially appreciate the olive oil, it's from Tunisia and is organic.
Why would anyone eat something from Tunisia?

I believe you will find no truth in Nestle owning Newmans Own. It has been turned over to his foundation in order to continue the work.

3) Because it is organic

2) Because I believe Newman's Own, when choosing suppliers, takes some trouble to make sure everything is copacetic with the country of origin

And the NUMBER ONE reason why I eat something from Tunisia:

1) It tastes good.

I like the lime vinaigrette. The dressings make great marinades too. And I just checked the label. It says "produced exclusively for" Newman's own... and then the blurb about donating to charities.

So perhaps Nestle's does produce it - the label says Westport CT? Who cares who makes it really? Why would you stop buying it if you found out Nestle's makes it? It is organic and the money goes to charity and it is a good product.
