I loved watching The Wire for two reasons; it was a damn good show and Idris Elba. Then I heard his British accent during an interview and considered becoming a stalker. Oh, the naughty things I would do to that man!
He had such gentle eyes. I never saw any hate or meaness in them, which is unusual in his line of work. I did not know his personality, but he did not LOOK like the kind of person who would be caught up in the whole "shoot-em-up" gang mentality. Maybe he was just caught up in it. Too bad for everyone.

He got caught up in it from what I've heard he was never in trouble with the law until he bacame famous and all those stories about him selling crack as a kid were fictional but who knows these days.
I loved his eyes and his smile every time I see the scene on Poetic Justice when he brings his daughter into the shop I'm thinking "Damn he's finer"

When Pac started out, he was far from being a thug, and far from the thug life. Later in life he started to think that he needed to act like that - and that's all it was, an act - and he lost his soul. Shortly afterward, he lost his life.
Blair Underwood, DEFINITELY! I've loved him since L.A. Law, and his roles on Sex & the City and In Treatment (ended up not enjoying that show EXCEPT for the episodes with Underwood) only made him sexier in my eyes. I might be tempted to leave my husband for a shot at Underwood, not that he'd ever have me. :-)
And I couldn't read every post, but I didn't see Jesse L. Martin mentioned, AND HE SHOULD BE. Boy, he's a beautiful man! I don't even like Law & Order but I tuned into most episodes when he was on the show.
And about Tiger--I LOVE him as a golfer, a person, a father, husband, son and a role model for youth. But I view him more like a brother for some reason and don't see the sexiness factor there.
Sorry I REFUSE to use the term african american. They are americans who are black
..anyways.. since we have a thread on pretties black women I thought it only fair for the men LOL
1. Laurence Fishburn (no laughing... he is just sexy IMO)
2. Idris Elba
3. Terence Howard
4. Chiwetel Ejiofor
5. Mike Epps
6. Mekhi Pfifer
7. Jimmy Jean-Louis
8. Sidney Poitier (when he was young)
black is just a color which none of us are anyway. I use both African American and black.

Good movie, he made that with Janet Jackson.
They say, a persons eyes are the windows to the soul, what a shame.
