Unhappy News, Film, TV Actor James Whitmore Dies of Lung Cancer.
James Whitmore, the many-faceted character actor who delivered strong performances in movies, television and especially the theater with his popular one-man shows about Harry Truman, Will Rogers and Theodore Roosevelt, died Friday, his son said. He was 87.

Yes..Just saw this not too long ago. RIP to a supremely talented and great person. Semper Fi to a fellow Marine as well.

Many of the younger crowd may remember him better from The SCOTTS lawn and garden products commercials. Semper Fidelis from an old combat corpsman!!! RIP
