How on earth can anyone honestly say that she is hot?
She looks part zombie, part gremlin, part skeletor. I just dont get it.
Hot she is not. She is very unattractive. It looks like the first ladies will keep on being fugly, because she doesn't change anything.
I swear, I am wondering if we are all looking at the same person. If she is hot, there is no such thing as ugly. I get the impression many on here want to believe that she is hot. But she is not hot by any stretch of the imagination.
By the way, I am not hating on the Obama's, I am just being honest. Apparently, so many on here want to act dellusional. I voted for Barrack. But just because I and possibly some of you wanted him to be president doesn't mean that his family is perfect in every way. His wife clearly took a coma like beating by the ugly stick because she is clearly not attractive!
Atleast her kids didn't take after her.....I guess she can be grateful for that.
I don't think she's ugly - she's not pretty either. She's functional. Meaning she can look nice with the right hair, makeup, etc.
I don't think the press talking about her sleeveless dresses has anything to do with politics or how attractive she is or isn't (for the record, I think she's quite attractive). The question is whether sleeveless is appropriate attire given the occasions. Washington DC is very "old school" when it comes to dressing. They have made similar comments about Obama not always wearing suits. It has everything to do with appearances and what has been considered appropriate attire for their positions and the occasions. Nothing more, nothing less.
A Jackie dress displayed at the JFK Library. According to the source: "This dress was worn by Mrs. Jacqueline Kennedy at the opening of the White HouseTreaty Room after it's redecoration on June 28, 1962." I'd say that was a formal occasion
Seems she had a fondness for accessorizing with pearls and gloves
I'd say First Lady Obama is simply harking back to an earlier era. And perhaps the President as well. One can do a search on pictures of Jack Kennedy and find him posed in a somewhat "hunky" manner. I remember a picture of him on a beach, weary trunks, burly chested, with a woman (not his wife) hanging off his arm.
After a dreary era of conservatism, fear and a slide into what is now an economic bog, I have to wonder if what the Obamas are trying to do is appear as an energizing, not-young but also not staid and stale couple.
1) She looks great for her age (she's 46/47)
2) She has a nice, radiant smile
3) She has a great, natural looking body
Personal preference though, I guess...I just happen to think she's very attractive.
Yeah she does have a nice body; I just don't think her face is attractive. It's her eyes - I don't know when I'm watching her on television I don't see it but when I see her in print one of her eyes seems droopy. I don't think she's bad looking; just average but nice looking when she's fixed up.

The press has always had a love affair with the first ladies and what they wear. Might as well get used to it, it's not going away, and certainly not just b'c they're the Obamas.

I guess. If you like the toilet paper and velcro balls on a prom dress look.
honestly, and I know this is soo not contributing but who the hell cares what she looks like or has on??????????????
I want to know what her husband is,can and will do for me. For this country. Because right now this country is in the sewer. I don't care if he's married to a mule or a playboy bunny. Fix the economy, Mr. Prez. Help this country.
By being fit & going sleeveless & generally looking fab, Michelle Obama is helping the economy. Every article about it rings up $$ that pay for jobs.
