Sure, now that Adam's taking off as a rock god, Slezac is another late-to-the-party, jumping on the adoring fan band wagon.....

Well, even before the "Metloaf" comment, he did a similar many-part interview with Adam, just after AI was over. I think it was done in the same cafe or whatever the background is. He was definitely in love with Adam then (in love, meaning being an adoring fan), - and that was the only thorough interview then (meaning, no chewing cud of "are you gay", "what color do you like" etc.), going over every Adam's AI song.

I think Mike was, as many, confused at first, after FYE release, because we were deeply set in the AI type songs. And the AMA performance didn't help.

But he did come around, and this interview is one of the deepest again, you actually talk music and feelings, going over each song methodically, instead of chewing cud. I think he genuinely likes Adam.

I think he likes Adam a lot, too. But like a lot of people who are lost/confused, and can't understand something initially, they resort to "chewing cud." As a professional interviewer, he should know better. No offense. He actually seems like a nice guy. Very malleable, though.

Glamberts, Here's the bios on Adam's band members.
Lisa Rae Harriton (keyboards), formerly with Smashing Pumpkins
Longineu Parsons (drums), He played with his dad in the Longineu Parsons Ensemble, and his “big break” was with Max Roach. He helped Ben Harper form the band Yellowcard and played drums with them.
Monte Pittman (guitar), formerly with Citizen Vein, toured with Madonna.
Tommy Joe Ratliff (bass guitar)
There’s not much info out there YET on Tommy, the second-best part of the Kiss Heard Round the World, was formerly with the band Mouthlike, loves the film Velvet Goldmine as Adam does, and so far is an enthusiastic Twitterer. Music videos of Parsons, Pittman with Madonna, and Ratliff at link, with more info on each member.

A bit more about Adam Lambert’s band – profiles of Lisa, Longineu, Monte and Tommy « Mr. L

Just caught Jay Leno by chance! Adam looked adorable! He really is a genuine guy, laid back, and well mannered. His mom was backstage. How sweet is that!

Adam changes the song just a bit every time he performs. Loved his comments on rumors at end of the interview. Here's the video of the interview for Glamberts that missed the show.

tiger..thanks so much for posting that. I missed the show. i love Jay for the way he interviewed Adam...like saying he believes networks are "secretly happy" when something 'outrageous' happens. Cheers to Jay for that!

Adam's a doll, so well-spoken and seems just flat out kind. I agree, he is very well-mannered guy ~
