Glamberts, here's Adam's new single from the album. He introduced it on Seacrest's show this morning. The best sound over at his official site. What do you think of the cover on the single. I don't care. I love the song. Adam is going to a Glampire for Halloween

I prefer the cover with his hand in front of his face. More glam-rock, I think. I was listening to other music and had the sound up all the way. When I clicked on Adam's site, I nearly got blasted out of my chair!YIKES...

The song's good, but I really look forward to his cover of more Muse music (M3!). I think it suits his personality better (of course, JMHO ).

Thanks for the post, tigerlilly!

I think they'll be something for everyone on the album. I do think Adam is sweet. I like the lyrics.
"Do you know what you got into/Can you handle what I'm 'bout to do/Cause it's about to get rough with you/I'm here for your entertainment,"
"Bet you thought that I was soft and sweet/You thought an angel swept you off your feet/ I'm about to turn up the heat/I'm here for your entertainment."
"Let me entertain you til you scream,"

I love that album cover. It's so much more artistic and interesting, not to mention that his eyes and his hand are beautiful!

I am still concerned about the music, though. If his album is as lame as that ridiculous, insipid "Time for Miracles" I'm gonna cry myself to sleep for a year.

What really has me concerned is his collaboration with Kara DiGua-whatever her name is. She's horrendous! Lordy. Really bad. I can't imagine why he would agree to do a song with her, especially after that AI finale song disaster. It makes me worry that he has no artistic sensibility or judgment, that he's just a singer at the mercy of idiots around him.

I get the glam album cover, but I do like the single cover better. I do like the song, it makes you want to get up and dance for sure. Although... I want to hear more of the Adam that we heard on Idol. I am sure his cd will have something for everyone. Did anyone go to any of the Idol shows here?

I love that song, seven. Thanks for thinking to post it. Very middle eastern quality to it, like the Ring of Fire version that Adam covered.

MusicFreak, Chickrae (post 502) and Mookster (post 525) both got to see Adam when they toured with American Idol this summer. Check out their great pics in those posts!

OK now, "close to" Springsteen. Would that be Jersey or California - I'm a big fan of his early stuff

Anybody see that Adam's CD is already #1 on Amazon. No surprise there ~

I guess my dancing days aren't over. LOL. I started moving the minute I heard the beat. As soon as it goes up on I Tunes, it gets downloaded to my exercise tapes. Here's the words:

So hot
Out the box
Can we pick up the pace?
Turn it up,
Heat it up
I need to be entertained
Push the limit
Are you with it?
Baby, don’t be afraid
I’ma hurt ‘ya real good, baby
Let’s go
It’s my show
Baby, do what I say
Don’t trip off the glitz
That I’m gonna display
I told ya
I’ma hold ya down until you’re amazed
Give it to ya ’til your screaming my name
No escaping when I start
Once I’m in I own your heart
There’s no way you’ll ring the alarm
So hold on until it’s over
Oh, do you know what you got into?
Can you handle what I’m ’bout to do?
‘Cause it’s about to get rough for you
I’m here for your entertainment
Oh, I bet you thought that I was soft and sweet
‘Ya fallen angel swept ya off ya feet
Well I’m about to turn up the heat
I’m here for your entertainment
It’s alright
You’ll be fine
Baby, I’m in control
Take the pain
Take the pleasure
I’m the master of both
Close your eyes
Not your mind
Let me into your soul
I’ma work ya ’til your totally blown
No escaping when I start
Once I’m in I own your heart
There’s no way ‘ta ring the alarm
So hold on until it’s over
Oh, do you know what you got into?
Can you handle what I’m ’bout to do?
‘Cause it’s about to get rough for you
I’m here for your entertainment
Oh, I bet you thought that I was soft and sweet
‘Ya fallen angel swept ya off your feet
Well I’m about to turn up the heat
I’m here for your entertainment
Oh oh…mmmm
Entertainment…
Oh oh…..Oh entertainment…
I’m here for your entertainment…
Oooohhh…..
Do you like what you see?
Wooooaaaahhhh……
Let me entertain ya ’till you screeaaam
Oh, do you know what you got into?
Can you handle what I’m ’bout to do?
‘Cause it’s about to get rough for you
I’m here for your entertainment
Oh, I bet you thought that I was soft and sweet (bet ya thought)
‘Ya fallen angel swept ya off your feet
Well I’m about to turn up the heat (turn up the heat)
I’m here for your entertainment
