I think that there is a double standard at work here in that black people seem to use that word often talking about women of any color but I just don't hear it used the same way among whites. When I use that word about any woman I mean something very serious and not just a figure of speech. When an obviously black woman calls that girl a white bi*** it indicates to me that she doesn't worry about race (in a pig's backside). I would like to hear her talk about her feelings about Don Imus. Was it the nappy or the ho that they didn't like? Is nappy the same as saying black?
Yes there is a racial double standard in what any of us can say in public and radio is just about as public as TV.

He called her many other things and the other person called her a white b... he never told her to take it back or appologize since he was so caught in the moment of trashing her....after all it is his show so he is responsible as well as all others for what was said.

So then I guess you'll also say that all those people that said those really racist things at McCain or Palin rallies, they were both responsible for what was said as well since it was their rally?

That is different...and you know it...nobody can help what is said in an open location where the public is welcome to attend..This is a closed environment with no public present only the people who are guest or working for the show. If a guest on a show is humiliating others or cursing, the host should stand up for the person who can't defend herself ....in this case a minor 16 year old girl...in Imus case a groupd of minor young girls!
I guess I would explain it for you...but i know in your heart you knew the answer your self...that is mostly the case with people who are biased and just want to write to bully

I'm not biased whatsoever. I didn't support what happened to Imus and I don't support actions against Foxx. It was on an XL pay channel, and I don't enjoy censorship.

Another case of fake outrage by the bitter right. Keep stirring the pot, you look like fools.

Well I guess you would love to live in The Netherlands where cursing on tv is allowed at anytime, sex images and even porn will be broadcast during the evening....
I can tell you that the result is that respect is getting less and less and it isn't in the best interest of the younger generation.
I understand that even on a XL pay channel minors should be treated with respect, although cursing is allowed or is everything allowed? I know that even in The Netherlands this wouldn't be accepted....

They do not show porn on regular television in The Netherlands, although nudity is shown... and yes, I don't see why we shouldn't here. I doubt you've ever been there, but their world didn't explode from it.
Take a look at the teenage pregnancy rate of The Netherlands and get back to me

click on the link to see this outrageous Jamie Foxx...and where is the outcry to have him fired...or is it as he claims..allowed because he is a comedian?
Why did a white person got fired and was the outcry so loud and now you hardly hear anything...who else is sick of the double standards?

Last time I checked it was a free country, he can say what he wants. Besides that, I can't stand to hear her scanky bubble gum noise on the radio station. And, since I can stand to listen to her, I can change the channel. Just like anyone that doesn't want to hear Jamie Foxx, "don't like it, change the station". The only reason she's on the radio or otherwise, is so he daddy can try to make a come-back from his failed career.

Now I absolutely agree with you on the Cyrus clan.
But let us just remember this line -
Don't like it, change the station
When we start arguing about the fairness doctrine.
