This is awful. That someone could feel such despair, such overwhelming agony that they see the only way out is to take there life. She was a beautiful, talented woman who from atleast what I can gather had a promising career, a family that cared about her and a boyfriend, this seems senseless, what could have been that bad in her life????? some dont even have half of what she did and they are still standing...... just sad
What a loser. She had looks and money and it wasn't enough. I feel no pain for her. Good riddence, and to Hell with her for the pain she caused her friends and family.

I speak from experience when I say that money does not make you happy. Only when you don't have it do you think such things, but when you're rolling in the dough, it's amazing how you really don't feel any happier. In fact, as a certain popular rapper once said, the more money you make, the more problems you get - Jealousy, envy, hate, taxes, bills, etc.
Good looks are good for one thing - the wrong kind of attention.
Its ashame when someone takes their own life. A close relative of mine did that a few weeks. We never saw it coming & the aftermath is absolutely devastating & heartbreaking. I wish she seeked help & meds. Meds & counseling works. Thats the next step for myself.
I read your link, Mike, and what a sad, sad story. Others never really know what's going on inside someone's head, do they? She had a life most people would die for and she took her own life. What could have been wrong? What a tragedy and a waste of a wonderful life. May she RIP now.
Many don't understand clinical depression. It's not that they have this intentional wish to harm themselves, or loved ones. I just is a way to put an end to the pain that depression is. And we ain't talking "my cat died" type of depression...we're talkin' the serious illness. Depression (the feeling) is nothing like depression (the illness).
Lucy was quite a pretty young woman. Suicide though is not the solution to your problems but to her it was. May she RIP.
Someone once told me that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem and as cliche as it sounds, that sentence makes a lot of sense.
