Denzel Washington; i love that he has not had the traditional hollywood marriage and has been married to his wife over 20 years (i dont see this much in hollywood). Also i also heard of one story where he wrote a big fat check on the spot to help build houses for military families. To me, he could be just be that person in the neighborhood that you love to invite to your house for dinner and ask for help when you need a favor.
A couple months ago Denzel was watching the local news here in Albuquerque and saw that the Boys and Girls Club in Roswell,NM didnt have enough money to keep it running so the next day he gave them enough money to keep it open all summer.

He's been married to the same lady for years and years. You never see him in the tabloids at the checkout counter. I think he's underrated as an actor, too.
I've heard whispers that Denzel is a philanderer, but I guess only his wife needs to deal with that if it is true. He seems down to earth.
I would add Angelina Jolie and Sir Richard Branson to the list. There are more, but they escape me at the moment.
