Tom Hanks and John Travolta are also two of the most entertaining guests on the Late Show.

In a fantasy world, they are all down to earth. In reality, none of them are, but that won't stop fans from having their fantasies.

Jeff Daniels, Tim Allen - not that I know that much about them but Jeff Daniels ran a small dinner theater in a small town in southern Michigan outside Ann Arbor for years

Sarah Jessica Parker came to my highschool english class back in the mid 90's (she was friends with the teacher).
This was before sex and the city, she was like a b list actor. I remember her saying she didnt like the hollywood scene, and wasnt into that (all the parties and stuff). And she still seems down to earth.
-Drew Barrymore. Always seems so real.
-Dave Navarro.
-Richard Branson.
And tom hanks, david arquette, courtney cox,

Uma Thurman. My stepdaughter was dating Michael Moore's producer, and went to the Cannes film festival. Shared a table with Uma Thurman, and sat next to her a screening of Kill Bill Two. She said "She was really nice, I probably would have liked her if I traveled in those kinds of circles." This comment from a radical leftist activist seemed to me to be pretty convincing. She had much less complimentary things to say about Tarantino.
I met a lot of rock stars back in the 60s. Duane Eddy was a totally regular guy. So was Dion DiMucci.
I used to work with a cameraman who had previously been in Hollywood. He said Broderick Crawford was the nicest guy in the movies.
I was in college with a guy who lived between Carmel and Monterey. He said Peter Lorre's car broke down and he came to the door and asked if he could phone AAA. He said Lorre remained in character the whole time---that's the way he really is.
