He was a grown man, it's not like an adult can force another adult to change their lifestyle if they don't wish to do so. Put the blame for drug use, molestation, eccentricity, et cetera where it's due -- on Michael himself.

I don't think that has anything to do with it. I once worked for a place that did a lot of things wrong illegally and morally. I refused to lie to and cheat the customers, so I was fired.
Let's face it people lie, and sometimes people will say anything for money. Despite that, who would know better what goes on behind closed doors other than a nanny or housekeeper? The fact is he is dead and drugs were likely the cause. He was very talented but made many poor choices in his lifetime.
