For me, I first fell in love with Ed Harris in the movie "Places in The Heart". He had such piercing blue eyes and you could feel the love he felt for his real-life wife/movie-mistress: Amy Madigan. He wasn't the most honorable character in the film, but those eyes made anything he did wrong easily forgiven!!
And, I just saw "Public Enemies", and I think this will be the film I re-fall in love with Johnny Depp!!

WOW....can't believe you said that. I was going to say the very same thing. The look on his face when he was making mention of 'fixing the squeak' kind of made me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Breakfast at Tiffany's with Audrey Hepburn (1961)

I was just getting to about "that age"

McCabe & Mrs. Miller with Julie Christie (1971)

I had always been interested in her previously but, oh my! This one fascinated me with her

"Gladiator" for Russell Crowe. I expected it to be really stupid and he was just marvelous (although there was enough stupid in the film).

I really developed a thing for Clive Owen after seeing 'Children of Men' (excellent film BTW).

Leonardo DiCaprio-never really cared for him until 'Gangs of New York'-YEOW!

he's not bad, either! Although I haven't seen much of his work other than "Passion of the Christ" and "Angel Eyes" (which was kind of forgettable!!)

I agree! I had a hard time sitting through the first part of the movie, but it really sped up and was great! Russell looked fabulous, and he looks like he shaped up quite a bit for his new movie "Robin Hood". Nice!!
