Why do you say that? I THINK, although I could be wrong, that Lester is upset that he is being ignored by the family. This guy and MJ had a long standing relationship and he was in his kids' lives. I think he just wants contact to his kids. I think it's strange that he would publically announce it the way he did, but I think his motivation was that he wanted to continue to be a part of the childrens' lives.

Reminds me of the Anna Nicole saga. Anyone looking
for their 15 minutes of fame claimed to be the "babies daddy".

Well, anybody that donated sperm could be the father. Dr. Klein admitted that he has donated sperm. Although he said it was to a sperm bank. Some insane woman came forth in the estate trial today and claims she is the mother of Blanket. I knew this was going to turn into a three ring circus.

I still don't understand what was wrong with MJ's own sperm.

From the OP article ....

Quote:
Both were then aged 37 and Lester already had three children.
"He realised having kids was a natural thing but that he just couldn't do it," Lester said.
"I mentioned the fact there are alternative ways of going about it.
"I think he'd already tried using his own sperm but it hadn't worked for him, so I made an off-the-cuff comment saying, 'Try mine'."
Jackson agreed and the donation was arranged through a clinic in Harley Street, London, in February 1996.
Eight months later Jackson announced he had married nurse Debbie Rowe and three months later the couple revealed the birth of their first child, Prince.

The 60's movie Oliver was a huge hit. No need for Mark Lester to be seeking fame. He already has it.
