Sharon Osbourne has apologized for insulting singing sensation Susan Boyle, saying she went for "a cheap laugh."

In an interview with Sirius XM's "The Opie & Anthony Show," Ozzy Osbourne's wife said the middle-aged Scottish talent-show winner had been hit by "the ugly stick."
