They were not "blessed with 8 fertilized eggs". They chose to take part in a procedure which has a high risk of higher order multiples, which at the time they could not (apparently) afford without resorting to foolishness.

It's not like God, Jesus, or their Fairy Godmother just swooped down and-- poof!-- Kate had sextuplets after twins. They chose that route. They're not innocent victims of some deranged Fertility Fairy.

My opinions are shared with many other people. Apparently your opinion is that it's ok for her as a "christian mother" to splurge money on plastic surgeries and other things for herself when she claims that she does all of this FOR HER CHILDREN. My opinion is that she dresses and acts in a way that is not conducive to a woman that claims she is a Christian. Our opinions differ.

Honestly, if I were dissecting Kate's alleged Christianity, I would have a lot of other things to criticize before it ever got to her breasts.

-- good points. Jon and Kate BOTH made the decision to do do this knowing well what could happen. My personal feeling on it is that there is nothing wrong with not wanting an abortion to reduce the number of kids she was having, in fact I agree with her on that matter.

I don't feel that there was anything wrong with them accepting a contract to do a show at the beginning for some added income to help them along. That is what made them so interesting and endearing to the public at first. However, it became obvious after the kids turned two that they were starting to enjoy the perks and benefits of all the money they were making, and as well as becoming reality show stars. To me, the love of money and THINGS became first instead of the welfare of their children. Now they are paying the piper for it with the death of their marriage and all the chaos they are having. Unfortunately the children are paying the price the most.

Her breast implants and lift are just one thing that I have questioned in regards to her behavior and her Christianity, not the first.

Okay, allow me to rephrase: my personal feeling, and I do not claim to speak for anyone else (including but not limited to mainegirl), is that there are so many other non-Christian attributes that can be ascribed to the lovely Ms. Gosselin that I don't really think it matters at this point what she does with her t**s.

yes ok.
You were making a blanket statement about how "Christian mothers" are supposed to live their lives and yes, it is only your opinion.

Hey - if you can't handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen. There is no "taking" a post as a personal attack, it either is or it is not.

If you are looking for a moderator job, you might want to apply for one.

Why don't you also stop inferring that there is some blanket way for a Christian to act and explain exactly what tenants Kate is violating?

Exactly why I keep my own checking account. I think couples who keep joint accounts are taking a huge risk.

I certainly hope she's not violating tenants. That would constitute assault.

Assuming you're referring to "tenets" (and "imply" rather than "infer"), you can start with Titus 2.
