Wow, that's some serious money! I always liked Bob Barker and this just shows that he truly is a generous and nice person.

Glad for the money he donated but he isn't such a nice guy. Just ask the original Price is Right models. His sexual harassment of the models had gotten so bad that CBS was forced to do a rotating crew of models. The reason why there are no Price is Right shows on the Game Show network is because Bob doesn't want any more money to go to the three original models who would receive royalty payments each time the show they appeared on is aired.

Oh jeez.
What is it with TV celebrity guys who can't keep their pants zipped?
Well, I always liked Barker's TV persona--his off-screen life certainly sounds brutish.
The donation does not negate what Barker did to those poor women, but I am glad the military will get the help which it so desperately needs.

I love Bob Barker, always have. Yeah, I get it, he groped his models. But you have to put into context, it was the 70s, there weren't laws and standards that there are now. It was a little different back then. I've respected his animal advocacy and now his generosity makes him that more appealing to me. I like him. He's a good guy.

Bob Barker - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
it was more than screwing around. It was also sexual harassment and other problems that lead to his leaving the show.

Well, that's the complexity of people. Some dirt-bags can have shockingly "good sides" to them. I think what he's doing with the hospital is terrific.
