Default Im amazed at the prosperity of vile Rappers like : 50 Cents

Rapper 50 cents was debuted on NightLine last night...and it was amazing to see how such people who promote immorality (especially sexual) and hatred toward Authority of every kind thru their lyrics , can be so incredibly financially successful. Its estimated this Guys fortune is around $160,000,000 . Heres a Guy who got into a Gang at age 12 selling Cocaine after being groomed by his cocaine selling Mother . Then he works his way up to being a top Rapper and Movie star (9 total) with a huge audience and women throwing themselves at his feet.

Madonna though, tops all of the bad examples with an estimate amassed fortune of $600,000,000 .

Isnt it ironic how these promoters of vile filth , immorality, and degradation can be so 'successful' ?

But...'what does it profit a Man (Woman) if they gain the whole world, yet forfiets their Soul ?' .

FromSouthCarolina is on a distinguished road
Wannabee kids keep him in business as far as I can tell. Also as long as they appeal to clubs with dance music they will stay in business.

Im no fan of 50 cent but I give the man props. He has a good business mind. He didnt just take his money he made and spend it on fast cars and big houses but he put a lof of it back into other business ventures.

He started a clothing line, a record label, he was part of vitamin water which is bought by coca cola for 4 billion. I believe he put out a bunch of porno movies or sponsored them financially, i cant remember which.

Id say most of the rappers make a few hits and spend their money and you never hear from them again but a few such as 50 cent and jayz actually make their money work for them.

I am more amazed at the parents who allow this vile filth in their homes and even buy it for their kids.

I refused to buy Madonna's music for my then pre-teen daughter. I was shopping with a friend one time and watched her pick up a Red Hot Chili Peppers CD. I asked her why she was buying it and she said her son had asked for it. I asked if she knew the type of music they did and she said she didn't have a clue. She bought it. Her son was 11 at the time.

I am worried for our youth. Their moral compasses are either way off or non-existant. With role models such as 50 cent, Kanye West, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears..what do we expect?

Nicole Ritchie and her boyfriend make the cover of People with their 2 children. They are unmarried. Doesn't seem to matter.

I never understood the appeal in 50 Cent. He's dog ugly, misogynistic and his music isn't even all that. I can't even believe women want him.

Hes making money work for him, but at the moral expense of our Youth and Young Adults . The problem is, he makes money by ill-gotton gain . And for people to idolize this Guy, just goes to show you how morally degraded this Nation is.

The bottom line is, parents just dont care or they are ignorant of whats going on ... combined with people not having any moral rudder . In fact, morality is an undesirable word because its seen as 'too confining/restricting/old fashioned' .
